This classic cannot be missed around Christmas time. Even if you are not in the mood yet Tchaikovsky’s music takes you there and the visuals choreographed by Wayne Eagling and Tamás Solymosi are sensational.

English Language Theater by Asterion – December 14th
For all your English language theater needs in the capital look no further than Most Budapest. This play is a comedy about life as an ex-pat in the city & so far they’ve had seven sold-out runs. If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet then what are you waiting for?

If you can’t wait until December 14th for your theater fill, then why not check out a live cinema broadcast of William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. Uránia will be streaming this performance which stars Kenneth Branagh & Judi Dench from London.

Return of The Craft Brew Legends, Csupor – December 4th
Ask any real craft beer head in the city who their favoruite Hungarian brewery is and most will say Csupor. Csupor do brews like no other & Pulse are delighted to have them back in town. We adore what they do. Thank God we can catch up with them at Neked Csak Nyolc for a few beers.

Monyo Terroir Tour #2 @ Beerselection – December 5th
Beerselection is fast becoming one of Pulse’s favourite places to hang out in the city. With wall to wall of top-class brews, Beerselection is a must-visit for every craft brew fan. On December 5th they welcome MONYO brewery to the store for the brewery’s terroir tour.

The Scottish League Cup Final @ Davy Byrne’s Pub – December 8th
It ain’t easy finding a place to watch Scottish football in Budapest, but Davy Byrne’s is looking to put that right. Davy’s has become something of an unofficial Celtic Supporters club in the last few weeks and it is a cracking spot for sport. Come down grab a beer and savour the atmosphere of a Glasgow derby final. Celtic take on Rangers in a game that is sure to go down in history. Don’t miss it.

Louis CK is Back – December 3rd
Louis, Louis, Louis, Louis. One of America’s greatest ever stand up comedians, Louis Ck is in Budapest for one night only at Budapest Kongresszusi Központ. Pulse tried our best to get an interview. Sadly Louis ain’t doing press on this tour. As for his act, expect the unexpected. This show is not for the easily offended & it promises to be an unforgettable night.
